(picture of Michele here)
Michele was born and raised at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Sheridan Wyoming. She now resides in Casper on the windswept plains of central Wyoming. Her landscapes and still lifes undulate with movement and color, her abstracts are energetic, multi-cultural, illuminating, rich in color and design and always uplifting, much like herself. She is equally at home in all mediums and a wide variety of styles. Using aesthetic realism and her unique use of color she creates paintings with the luminosity of stained glass. Whatever the subject matter, her original use of color is at the essence of her compositions. Creating a mood, a memory, a feeling, or a mirror image of reality, she gets you there.
Michele teaches watercolor and mixed media classes at the Casper Recreation Dept. She maintains a studio in the Wolcott Galleria, located in the old Odd Fellows building. Her studio is on the third floor overlooking the downtown area of Casper.
Michele has signature status in several art organizations including: The International Society of Acrylic Painters, The Northwest Watercolor Society, The Montana, Wyoming and Northern Plains Watercolor Societies.
Michele's work has been accepted into many national and international shows including The National Watercolor Society, The National Acrylic Painters Association, The Royal Birmingham Sociey or Artists in Birmingham, England and the Northwest Watercolor Society.
Her works are widely represented in public, private and corporate collections across the United States, Taiwan, Japan, The Netherlands and Spain.
